Created in the 19th Century in the United States, the Push Dagger, is inspired by the Katar, a middle age weapon originating from India. They share the similarities of the blade shape, as well as the size. They are recognizable by their T-shaped handle, conceived to be held between the central fingers, creating a good symmetrical grip ! The push daggers have been declined in multiple variants.

Shadow Daggers as they are known in CS:GO are inspired by those push daggers. They were introduced in 2015 in the Shadow Case, then updated twice to include Chroma and Gamma finishes respectively in 2017 and 2021. Shadow Daggers have seen some uses in the pro scene, with the likes of RpK, Degster or Elige using them on the biggest stages during their professional tournaments !
